Helping the Eagles open up the 2017 conference slate with a 2-0 record, Berglund cashed in a double-double of 26 points and a career-high 16 rebounds in the teams win [63-52] over Bethany Lutheran College Wednesday. Then, in Saturday's 59-51 win against North Central University, the junior guard stayed hot as she netted 17 points for the purple and gold.
On the season, Berglund is averaging just over 16 points per game and is shooting better than 53 percent from the hardwood. If that's not enough, she also boasts a 78.3 shooting percentage from the charity stripe and is averaging just over seven rebounds and two assists per game.
The squad is set to host Crown College and Augsburg University at home this week. For game times and live links, fans should visit www.unweagles.com.
