ST. PAUL – University of Northwestern seniors
Lindsey Peterson (Sheffield, Iowa/West Fork) and
Jackie Doering (Charles City, Iowa/Charles City) added another honor to their impressive careers, as the duo has been named National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) All-North Central Region. In addition, Peterson was named the North Central Region Player of the Year.

Peterson – who will exit Northwestern as the program's all-time leader in career kills (2,151) and career digs (2,234) – helped the Eagles make their third-straight NCAA Division III Sweet 16 appearance. UNW finished with a 34-7 tally – tying a school record with its 34 victories.
Peterson was three times named the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) Player of the Year and was a four-time UMAC All-Conference honoree. Last week, the Sheffield, Iowa, native was named the AVCA's Central Regional Player of the Year.
Doering helped the Eagles to three-straight Sweet 16 appearances. The Charles City, Iowa, native graduates second on Northwestern's list for digs in a career. She posted a team-high 583 digs this fall. The AVCA All-Region and All-UMAC selection averaged an impressive 4.70 digs per set.
