ST. PAUL – University of Northwestern senior Jackie Doering (Charles City, Iowa/Charles City) has been recognized for her outstanding efforts in the classroom and on the volleyball court, as the libero has been named to the College of Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA) Academic All-District Six women's volleyball team. She was one of just seven individuals named to the District Six release.

The Northwestern senior now advances to the national ballot for CoSIDA Academic All-American consideration.

Doering – a marketing major – boasts a 3.87 GPA. On the court, Doering helped the Eagles to three-straight Sweet 16 appearances. The Charles City, Iowa, native graduates second on Northwestern's list for digs in a career. The AVCA All-Region and All-UMAC selection averaged an impressive 4.70 digs per set.
