ST. PAUL, MINN. – In Monday's Upper Midwest Athletic Conference [UMAC] press release, UNW's
Lindsey Peterson (Sheffield, Iowa/West Fork) and
Jackie Doering (Charles City, Iowa/Charles City) rounded out the weekly awards this season as they each earned Player of the Week honors for women's volleyball.

Peterson hit .376 en route to racking up 56 kills in UNW's three wins last week. The senior outside hitter also averaged 5.09 kills per set, and posted 41 digs [3.73 digs/set].
Doering had a strong week on the defensive end, as she averaged 4.27 digs per set [47 total] to help the Eagles go 3-0. The senior libero also recorded an impressive 22 digs in the teams 3-2 victory over Bethel Friday.
Tallying three big wins on the week, Northwestern captured its seventh-straight regular season title with an unblemished conference record [16-0].
