LEXINGTON, Ky. – Following a dominant 5-0 week, which included a sweep of No. 17 St. Thomas, the University of Northwestern volleyball team moved up a spot to No. 7 in Tuesday's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Poll.

UNW continued its strong conference play, going 4-0 in league contests to push its conference record to a perfect 10-0. The Eagles closed out the week Saturday with their lone non-conference match with No. 17 St. Thomas. In front of a packed Ericksen Center, UNW cruised to 25-13, 25-21, 25-14 set wins to top the Tommies.
