FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. – The University of Northwestern men's cross country team was led by sophomore
Wil Maki (Hibbing, Minn./Hibbing) Saturday at the Roy Griak Invitational. Maki ran to a 44
th place finish at the Les Bolstad Golf Course, finishing the race in 29:16.9. The Eagles finished 12
th overall as a team, compiling a team time of 157:22.5.

Garrett Crown (Ankeny, Iowa/Ankeny Christian Academy) and
Eric Melendez (Richfield, Minn./Eagle Ridge Academy) were the next UNW runners to cross the line, collecting times of 31:04.3 and 31:12.6, respectively.
Kyle Granger (North Branch, Minn./North Branch) finished 76
th with his time 31:56.3.
Wisconsin-Oshkosh took home the team title, while Matt Berens of Bethel won the individual title.
The Eagles will race at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire BluGold Invitational next Friday. The action is slated to get underway at 5:15 p.m.
