NORTHFIELD, Minn. – Racing against some of the top competition from across the region, the University of Northwestern women's cross country team ran to an 18
th place finish at the St. Olaf Invitational Saturday. Saturday's meet featured both Division II and Division III schools.
Complete Meet ResultsAlyssa Arends (Ackley, Iowa/AGWSR) paced the UNW women in the 6k race, accumulating a time of 25:53.8. Arends continues to have a strong fall for the Eagles.
Danica White (Maplewood, Minn./Concordia Academy) was the second UNW finisher Saturday, as the sophomore crossed the line in a time of 26:56.0.
Vanessa Whyte (Medina, Minn./Homeschool) totaled a time of 27:17.6 and
Megan Reece (Slater, Iowa/Homeschool) finished in 28:08.6.
UNW will next compete at the prestigious Griak Invitational next Saturday in St. Paul. The women's race will get underway at 9 a.m
